PROCUREMENT

What belongs in a golf cart export quote?

Use this practical checklist to compare the vehicle build, battery inclusion, packaging and support terms—not only the headline unit price.

Identify the same build before comparing prices.

Start with the seating layout and a reference photo. Specify whether the rear-facing seats are part of the configuration. List the motor, battery, charger, tire and wheel specification, display, camera, basket and bumper. Mark each item as included, optional or excluded.

Our product sheets describe reference builds, not a universal equipment bundle. In particular, a listed battery voltage and capacity do not by themselves confirm that a battery is included in a quoted vehicle price.

Separate the vehicle cost from shipping costs.

Ask for the quote currency, unit quantity, equipment package and an explicit delivery basis with the named location. Record whether freight, insurance, customs clearance, duties, taxes and destination delivery are included or excluded. Agree the exact commercial terms with the seller and your logistics adviser.

Packed dimensions and gross weight matter as much as the vehicle dimensions. Request the proposed packaging method, loading arrangement and the documents applicable to the battery and destination. Do not reuse the loading count of one configuration for every model.

Ask for evidence that matches the destination and model.

A certificate shown on a website is not automatically evidence that every cart can be imported, registered or driven on public roads in every country. Ask which legal entity, vehicle type, battery and exact configuration a document covers. Have destination requirements checked before confirming an order.

For a private property or resort, describe the intended routes clearly. For public-road use, ask the relevant local authority and confirm the vehicle-specific approval process. We do not label all configurations as universally street legal.

Make delivery and support terms explicit.

Have the seller confirm the minimum quantity, payment milestones, production lead time, inspection arrangements and proposed shipping window in writing. A lead time quoted for a standard build may not apply to a customized order.

Ask separately about whole-vehicle, battery, motor and controller warranty terms; consumables and wear parts; parts availability; troubleshooting support; and who carries replacement-part freight. This checklist helps define a complete quotation, not a promise that every service is automatically included.
